The reconstruction of the left wing of the Světozor cinema included the installation of a new screening room for 51 viewers and the renovation of the foyer, including restrooms. The design follows the reconstruction of the main hall and the right wing from 2007 by the same authors, which features the space presented in black and white, complemented by colorful depictions of film scenes. In the "new" left wing, the concept is shifted to a more abstract level, with specific film scenes replaced by colored lighting—atmospheric filters used in cinematography. With the help of RGB LED technology, visitors can find themselves in the yellowish ambiance of the film Limonádový Joe.
The new hall offers a high standard of acoustics. Balanced sound insulation is achieved through a suitable combination of acoustic panels based on heraklit and wooden boards in the floor and niches of the hall. The lighting is provided by energy-efficient LED strips. RGB technology allows for the mixing of any color of light in the niches. The elevation and placement of the seats are optimized according to the visibility curve, providing all viewers with a sufficient view of the screen.
