The theme of our Žižkov house is a box created with minimal means, segmented by a syncopated rhythm with an emphasis on details. The mat and reflections changing with the passage of light through the narrow streets of Chlumova and Šaldova form the only "interesting" aspect. The requirement for regulation was to segment the building according to the original parcels. Small balcony apartments on the lower floors are complemented by large apartments with atriums and pools on the upper floors. The box of the house conceals surprises inside the courtyard, where the composition is formally richer and anticipates the active life of the residents - a residential garden above the underground garages and wide balconies. The mass and conceptual counterbalance to the apartment building is the investor's house, accessible from the sixth floor.
