The building is located in Prague 3 - Žižkov in the sports complex "Pražačka". The place is well accessible from the center and is situated in an area with a diverse development of family and apartment houses.
The investor's plot has an irregular rectangular shape, slightly sloping from the eastern boundary to the northwestern one. The eastern boundary of the plot is bordered by a public road, while the remaining boundaries are defined by adjacent parcels.
The partially reconstructed indoor swimming pool is located near the boundary of the eastern plot. The building is two stories, utilizing the slope of the land. The footprint of the existing structure is a regular rectangle measuring 25.4 x 25.0 m, to which an entrance vestibule is attached on the first floor. In the area of the shelter on the southern façade of the indoor pool, a new building with dimensions of 4.9 x 15.0 m will be constructed in the next phase of development, which will include a cleaning storage and necessary facilities for cleaning staff, storage for equipment, and a new covering for the gas connection. Next to the southern façade, after the demolished staircase, a new changing room building with showers and a lifeguard room will be erected. This building, measuring 10.0 x 31.8 mm, will serve both the outdoor pools and the indoor pool. These construction objects are part of the planned II phase of the reconstruction.
The indoor pool is currently accessible from the eastern side from the public road and from the northern side through the changing rooms on the investor's plot (visitors to the complex).
In phase I of the reconstruction, there is an indoor training pool with a gallery. The pool is constructed of stainless steel. The children's pool, storage rooms, and entrance from the area of the new changing rooms are part of the subsequent - III phase of the reconstruction.
In the 1st basement level, there are facilities for public visitors' changing rooms, showers, restrooms, and a lifeguard room with a treatment room, along with part of the technology for the indoor pool - II phase.
All floors are connected by a direct staircase.
The perimeter and central load-bearing walls of the building are left as existing. The outer shell of the indoor pool is designed using cladding panels made of cement-bonded particleboard.
