Family House Černovír

The village of Černovír is located near the town of Ústí nad Orlicí, in the valley of the Tichá Orlice River. The land gently slopes to the south. To the south, there are also the most beautiful views of the opposite hills. On the north and west sides, the land is bordered by local roads. The goal was to build a house that provides privacy, plenty of light, takes advantage of the views, and has low operating costs. Maximum care was given to the relationship between the main living room, the outdoor covered terrace, and the garden. The house does not have a typical garden, but an orchard and a meadow without a clear separation of private and public spaces. The long, single-story mass of the house serves as a divider between the landscape and the village. Under one vast roof is a covered terrace with outdoor seating, a parking space for two cars, and a workshop with storage. The ventilated facade made of cedar wood has different shades on the exterior of the facade, where it is exposed to wind and rain, and in the "arcade."
