The family house is situated in the beautiful location of the Zobor massif with views of the entire city of Nitra. It is a reconstruction and extension of an old house from the 1980s. The simple form of the house with a gabled roof fits into the existing urban structure. The facade and roof of the house are made of wooden cladding from raw acacia wood and are complemented by ornamental features in the form of windows and skylights scattered across the facade of the house.
The surroundings of the building are enhanced by retaining walls and fences made of rubble stone. The clear rectangular layout is naturally divided into a day and night part. It should be mentioned that the wood comes from trees that were located just a few kilometers from the construction site and were cut down for the construction of a new highway bypass, and the stone also comes from a nearby quarry. By using only locally available materials, the building aims to be naturally ecological, just like its inhabitants.
