Family House Řevnice

The plot at the end of the dead-end street in the cottage area is narrow and rises steeply upward along the southern slope of the river terrace. Above the recess for parking, two residential floors are set. Their volumes do not touch the ground anywhere and form a 90º angle in plan view. Above part of the first floor with bedrooms, there is a space for a roof terrace adjacent to the main living area on the second floor.
An outdoor staircase leads from the parking area under the house to the entrance of the apartment. The continuing interior staircase opens in the middle of the living space, with the kitchen and dining area on one side and the seating area on the other.
The retaining walls of the parking recess, staircase, and storage are made of monolithic reinforced concrete. Classic wooden construction supports the residential floors on the walls and steel columns, with four steel frames providing cross-bracing for the second floor.
The side façades facing the neighbors are clad with non-combustible CETRIS boards, while the remaining surfaces are covered with larch slats. The glazing is consistently shaded by external blinds.
