The plot is located in a residential area between existing family homes and villas in Prague Ruzyne. The parcel is connected to the local road - Ruzyňská. Originally, an aging family house stood on the plot, which has been removed.
The family house is situated in the widest (northern) part of the roughly trapezoidal plot, so that its longest side follows the street line.
The whole building is designed on the principle of a main mass made of concrete complemented by "appendages" - a garage, a bathroom, and an office, which seem to protrude from the existing simple cubic mass and are treated with water-resistant plywood. The house is two stories high with a recessed office on the 3rd floor.
The roofs of the building will be covered with extensive greenery and stone. Exposed concrete, fiberglass-reinforced concrete panels, wooden - plywood cladding, aluminum, and glass permeate the entire structure.
The layout of the house: the main entrance with storage space is connected through a cloakroom to the garage and to the stairwell with a ramp. From the entrance hall, one can enter the living area, consisting of a kitchen, dining room, and children's rooms. Access to the social facilities is also possible. From the main living area, there is a staircase and ramp leading to a gallery opening across two levels and an office at the highest point spanning three levels.
