Family house in Vestec

The investor's wish was to design a simple compact house with a slight reference to functionalist architecture. Based on an approximately rectangular floor plan, a two-storey house is conceived for a four-member family. The ground floor contains the main living and technical spaces, including a garage.
The upper floor is designed for rooms and bedrooms with supporting facilities. The building at the ground level connects to a well-established garden with a pool. The interiors feature wall coverings made of Makassar, while the bathrooms use travertine. The floors are covered with oak planks.
The façade has been designed as a combination of white plaster and exposed plank concrete. The façades are pierced by glazed openings in aluminum frames.
