I’m going to the dentist. I never really want to go there much. I’m sitting in the waiting room and suddenly I hear the word that everyone in the waiting room is waiting for.

"Next ..."

I open the door and find myself in a small hallway where I can leave my things. There is a mirror that enlarges the small space, hooks where I can hang my coat, and a smaller wooden bench where I can put my other belongings that I have with me. I enter a bright room that is painted pure white. In front of me is a window with a view of the landscape. Sliding light panels soften some of the intense sunlight shining into the room. To the right, a wooden cladding with a distinctive texture runs along the entire wall and bends into the room at about ninety centimeters above the floor. The natural material of the wood makes the atmosphere of the office more pleasant. A horizontal surface serves as a long countertop and work area, with a chair and a computer next to it. The wall cladding together with the work area acts like a large shelf. Below it are clean and minimalist cabinets. Some of them are peeking out. I notice that they have wheels.

One cart is pulled up by the nurse. It has everything she will need today.
To the left of the entrance, I noticed sliding frosted-glass doors; there is a second office. Through the slightly open door, I can see that it looks similar. The floor has a light gray character. After a while, I head straight for the chair. It is in the center of the room and oriented towards the window. I sit down and look outside. I notice that I have a large central rectangular light fixture above my head. It gently shines down on me, but also up to the ceiling. The ceiling looks as if it is floating, soft light from the central fixture falls on it, and it is also recessed from the walls, where a linear light fixture runs almost around the entire perimeter of the room. The entire ceiling appears airy and light. Moreover, the linear light fixture enhances the color and texture of the wooden wall cladding. The illuminated wood gives me a warm feeling. It’s not so bad to go to the dentist occasionally ... I feel comfortable.

The doctor approaches. "So say AAA ..."
