FHS UK and ÚDU AV ČR cordially invite you to a colloquium on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the first edition of the fundamental book of 20th-century architecture – Vers une Architecture. The centenary offers an opportunity – in accordance with Patočka's belief that one of the roles of universities is to periodically review important books of the tradition and assess them in the present – to examine the content and form of the book, its influence on the architecture of the following century, and on ways of thinking. Leading experts in the field will present, including Martina Hrabová, Monika Mitášová, Rostislav Švácha, Jana Tichá, Jiří Tourek, and Marian Zervan.
