She was born in Zlín, where she studied at the Secondary Technical School of Construction and then at the Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Architecture. From 1991 to 1996, she worked at the architectural office Burian-Křivinka in Brno. Afterwards, she established her own practice and in 2007 co-founded an architectural office with Zdeněk Eichler, which has been named EA architects s.r.o. since January 2010.
