Biography
Iñaki Ábalos received his Master's degree in Architecture from ETSAM in Madrid (1978) and also obtained his doctorate there (1991). He has been practicing architecture since 1978. From 1984 to 2006, he founded and led the studio Ábalos&Herreros. In 2006, he co-founded the studio Ábalos+Sentkiewicz with Renata Sentkiewicz. He has served as a visiting professor at Columbia University (New York), Architectural Association (London), EPFL (Lausanne), Princeton University (New Jersey), and Cornell University (Ithaca). Since 2009, he has been a professor at Harvard University.
