Intergenerational Center Eight Tábor
The subject of the competition for the proposal is to design a comprehensive reconstruction of the former 8th elementary school in Sídlíště nad Lužnicí in Tábor (Světlogorská 2771/3). The intention is to utilize the building as an intergenerational center with a library, multifunctional hall, and spaces for leisure activities for children, youth, and seniors.
The aim of the competition is to strengthen the existing viable mix of community and social functions, remedy conflicting operational connections, and integrate the building into the organism of the housing estate, landscape, and city.
The selected architectural / general designer team will subsequently develop all project phases of the investment intention.
This is a high-value public contract; the estimated total value of the public contract for services according to § 16 ZZVZ is CZK 16,600,000 excluding VAT – composed of the sum of prices and reimbursements for competitors amounting to CZK 1,600,000 excluding VAT in the design competition and the estimated fee for the subsequent service contract amounting to CZK 15,000,000 excluding VAT.
