We invite you to the Stiassni Villa in Brno for the opening of an exhibition dedicated to the Dobřichovice villa architecture, prepared by the Central Bohemian Museum in Roztoky near Prague in collaboration with the Central Bohemian site of the National Heritage Institute. The opening will take place on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at 5:00 PM.
The exhibition itself is divided into two parts – at the Löw-Beer Villa, buildings from 1880 to 1914 will be on display, while the Stiassni Villa will showcase interwar architecture. The exhibition will run until June 25, 2017.

The exhibition captures the phenomenon of suburban villa locations near the capital city of Prague. For the very first time, it focuses in more detail on one of the villa communities that developed in Dobřichovice. The local collection of villa architecture has attracted attention since the turn of the 1880s and 1890s and still retains the aesthetic quality and architectural value of the original cohesive set of buildings, which is unparalleled in other locations around the capital city.
