The exhibition of plans and geometric analyses by Ladislav Moučka, photographs by Věroslav Škrabánek, and structural models by students of the Faculty of Architecture VUT in Brno, working under the guidance of doc. Jaroslav Drápal. The exhibition's opening will take place on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 6 PM at the Memorial of Literature in Moravia, Klášter 1, Rajhrad. Entry to the opening is FREE. The exhibition is based on the hypothesis that there exists a unified compositional principle that Jan Blažej Santini Aichel imparted to his buildings and which he creatively adopted from medieval architecture. This hypothesis is demonstrated in the exhibition through the analysis of specific buildings from six locations and one unrealized project: Panenské Břežany (Chapel of St. Anna), Mladotice (Chapel of the Name of the Blessed Virgin Mary), Mariánská Týnice (Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary), Křtiny (Church of the Name of the Blessed Virgin Mary), Žďár n. S. (pilgrimage area at Zelená Hora, Lower Cemetery, Convent), Chlumec nad Cidlinou (Castle Karlova Koruna), Rozsochatec (unrealized design of a chapel). The author of the exhibition is Ladislav Moučka; it was first presented in 2019 at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague. An integral part of the exhibition is structural models of Santini's architecture by students of the Faculty of Architecture VUT and photographs of the analyzed buildings by Věroslav Škrabánek.
