Automobile City in China by Albert Speer

The Frankfurt office of Alberta Speera Jr. announced last Friday its victory in the competition for a new urban district for 300,000 inhabitants in the Chinese city of Changchun, which is intended to serve exclusively the needs of the automotive industry. The new city, covering an area of 120 square kilometers, is expected to be established within ten to fifteen years. In the southern part of the city, car manufacturers such as Volkswagen, Audi, Mazda are already located, and five other brands plan to relocate their production here.
