Copenhagen - Danish and American builders have created a house capable of fleeing from floods or annoying neighbors. It has six hydraulic legs that allow it to move. It also features a living room, kitchen, toilet, bed, wood stove, and a computer that controls the movable "limbs," writes the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph.

The unusual three-meter-high dwelling powered by solar and wind energy, capable of moving across any terrain, is the result of a team of Copenhagen builders who joined forces with engineers from Massachusetts, USA. It will take its first "walk" on Thursday in the English county of Cambridgeshire.
According to the designers, such a house is a solution to problems like flooding, as it can simply flee from rising water.
The prototype of the building cost approximately 915,000 crowns, including materials and time spent on its construction, but the builders are convinced that it could be built more cheaply.
One of the team members, designer Öivind Slaatto, intends to live in the unusual house upon returning to Copenhagen. "This house is not just for travelers but for anyone who has taken a liking to a somewhat nomadic lifestyle," he said.
Each limb of the house functions and is powered independently from the others. On the ground, three legs always rest simultaneously for stability.
