Brno – The development company has begun construction of the Pekárenský dvůr residence in the Brno district of Zábrdovice. The name derives from the long history of bakeries on Cejl and is also inspired by an industrial style. With costs of 1.5 billion crowns and nearly 250 apartments, it is the company's largest project to date. It is expected to be completed in the second half of 2023, the developer stated in their press release.
Pekárenský dvůr will offer nearly 250 apartments of various sizes in four buildings, 222 parking spaces, three so-called townhouses, or city houses with their own gardens, and a community center with a library. The developer is also planning a park and playgrounds. The top floor of the residence will feature a luxury penthouse with a total area of over 260 m².
According to the website, smaller apartments measuring 23.7 m² will cost 2.6 million crowns, while the most expensive one with an area of 108.5 m² is priced at 10.7 million crowns. A townhouse will cost approximately 7.5 million crowns.
All building facades will have a brick cladding, green roofs, and aluminum windows with a factory-style metal grille. "Our goal is to create a new modern residential district that will restore the original residential function of this area and whose structure will correspond with the existing type of development. The architecture of all the buildings is modest and unobtrusive," said the project's chief architect Radim Lička from the company Dimense.
