The expert jury of the world’s largest real estate and investment opportunities fair MIPIM 2016 ranked the new Prague landmark – Enterprise Office Center, among the TOP 100 best administrative buildings in the world. The building, which was handed over to tenants just a few weeks ago by the development company Erste Group Immorent, made it to the semifinals of the prestigious development and architectural competition MIPIM Awards, competing against more than 230 registered projects from around the globe. The Best Choice & Business Development category is one of the most watched and simultaneously one of the toughest.
“The fact that we made it to the semifinals of the MIPIM Awards with the Enterprise Office Center project is a great motivation for us to continue our work and also a confirmation that extraordinary administrative projects are emerging in the Czech Republic that can stand out in wide international competition with their architectural solutions, top-notch technologies, and quality of execution,” says Tomáš Velemínský, managing director of Erste Group Immorent Czech Republic.
The announcement of the final winners of the competition takes place annually in Cannes, France, in the auditorium of the Palais des Festivals, at the conclusion of the European fair MIPIM. This year, the final results will be announced on March 17. Besides categories like the best administrative building, the general public will also learn about decisions in other categories such as the best innovative green building or the best renovated building, best hotel resort, shopping center, or residential project.
The quality of the Enterprise project is also confirmed by the fact that 50% of the area was leased to the first tenant – AVAST – even before the construction started. “This situation is rather an exception in the Czech commercial real estate market. I can also confirm that intensive negotiations with other tenants are heading towards a successful conclusion. We expect the building to be fully occupied within a matter of weeks,” adds Tomáš Velemínský.
