Project: Atelier M1 architects s.r.o.
The city of Most - Mostecká radnice is planning the reconstruction of the central park. It should include a lecture and exhibition hall. The costs are estimated at 30 million crowns. The city will now announce a public tender for the preparation of project documentation. The city council informed CTK about this after a meeting today.

The reconstruction of the park Střed above the sports hall is scheduled for the years 2017 to 2020. The planned new building will host exhibitions and lectures related to the old Most, reclamation, mining issues, and the remediation of mining activities. The new park will also include an educational trail.

The city has estimated the costs for the preparation of project documentation for the zoning process and the construction of the city hall at 1.75 million crowns excluding VAT. The total costs for the reconstruction of the park Střed are estimated at nearly 30 million crowns.

The city aims to cover about 85 percent of the costs with a grant from the Interreg VA program. A condition for the grant allocation is obtaining a partner from abroad, which will be the Saxon city of Marienberg. Another partner will be the Podkrkonošské Technical Museum.

Cities in northern Bohemia have recently focused on the revitalization of parks. City halls almost always use funds from the European Union or grants to cover the costs.
