Prague - The administration of Prague Castle plans repairs and investments worth 228 million CZK for the next year. For example, the Tomb of the Czech Kings could be completely reconstructed, and the Office of the Highest Burgrave or the Institute of Noble Ladies will also undergo repairs. This is evident from the proposed plan for repairs and investments provided to the Czech Press Agency by the spokesperson for the Prague Castle Administration, David Šebek.

According to the plan, which will depend on the approval of the budget for the Prague Castle Administration for the coming year, the most money is expected to be allocated for the repair of facades and roofs of the southern part of the Institute of Noble Ladies, formerly the Renaissance Rosenberg Palace, and for the reconstruction of the Office of the Highest Burgrave by the Black Tower. Prague Castle intends to allocate 60 million CZK for each project next year. The daily Lidové noviny recently reported that the Office of the Highest Burgrave at Prague Castle will be under repair for two years and will involve its largest reconstruction in the last 50 years. A gallery, café, and children's playroom are planned to be created in the premises. The total cost of the repair will be 120 million CZK.
Additionally, the castle administration plans to invest 30 million CZK in the ongoing repair of facades and roofs of buildings from the Foundry Courtyard to the South Honorary Wing. The Lion Courtyard by the Powder Bridge is also set to be reconstructed for 20 million CZK, and the interior of the northern extension of the New Royal Palace for ten million CZK.
Funds will also be allocated for St. Vitus Cathedral. The support pillars above the Small Excavations as well as the stairs and chapels in the cathedral are set to be repaired. A complete reconstruction of the Tomb of the Czech Kings for five million CZK is also planned. Notable figures buried there include Charles IV, his wives, Wenceslas IV, and Rudolf II.
