The public award was received by three buildings – a multifunctional sports hall in Slaný, the construction of a new gymnasium at the Říčany grammar school, and the construction of a parking garage in Čelákovice. The results of the competition were announced today by the organizers at the Municipal Theater in Slaný.
The expert jury also awarded additional honors. The regional governor's award for an individual contribution to architecture was given to architect Martin Rajniš. There were slightly more new constructions than renovations and revitalizations. Public clients significantly outnumbered private investors, with their projects representing more than two-thirds of the submissions.
