Hodonín - The eastern part of Příční Street in the center of Hodonín will change in the coming years into an area with shops and office spaces. In recent months, the local government has purchased and demolished old buildings in this area. Studies and projects are now beginning to take shape, focusing on the future appearance of the street, said Hodonín Mayor Jiří Koliba to ČTK today. Příční Street was, according to him, neglected. Therefore, the city decided to radically change its appearance. The city hall invested over six million crowns into purchasing local properties before the demolition. In the future, up to ten new buildings could be constructed on the street. The municipal office will offer the plots on which the new buildings will stand for sale to entrepreneurs and companies in the coming days. Construction of the new commercial zone connected to the city center will begin next year.
