In Prague, the construction of Meier's City Green Court will begin

In Prague, the construction of the City Green Court office building will begin, which places a strong emphasis on environmentally friendly solutions. The total investment value from Skanska amounts to 38 million euros. City Green Court will offer 16,000 m² of rental space, and the new office building is expected to be ready for tenants in the first quarter of 2012. The building will rise in an established business district in Prague 4 - Pankrác.
City Green Court is located in an established business district in Prague 4 - Pankrác at the corner of Hvězdova and Pujmanová streets. The building will consist of 7 floors arranged around a central atrium, beneath which there will be parking in the basement.
The City Green Court building was designed by the architectural studio Richard Meier & Partners with the assistance of the local architectural studio Cuboid Architekti. Special attention was given during its design to ensure that the building meets the green criteria of the LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) standard. LEED considers environmentally responsible building design, the use of materials and resources, energy saving, water management efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, indoor environmental quality improvement, and the building's location. This certification provides developers and building operators with a concise framework for determining and implementing sustainable solutions during the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the building.
