Media coverage regarding the declaration of OD Prior and Hotel Kyjev at Kamenné Námestie as a National Cultural Monument has sparked interest among both experts and the general public. This status has so far been attained by only a few architectural works from the late modern period. Although it is one of the most acclaimed buildings in Bratislava from its time, this news has met with mixed reactions alongside positive feedback.
In a lecture accompanied by a discussion, we will explore the architectural qualities of this complex, the artworks that are part of it and its history, touch upon its critical aspects and also the possibilities it offers for the future.
