The Croatian magazine Oris is not only engaged in publishing activities, but also organizes various conferences, inviting interesting personalities from around the world. Two years ago, we wrote on Archiweb about a lecture by the only Australian Pritzker Prize winner Glenn Murcutt, and for next week, Oris has prepared a whole barrage of Japanese architects. On Saturday, May 10, 2008, starting at 3:00 PM, Fumihiko Maki, Kengo Kuma, Atelier Bow-Wow, and Tetsuo Furuichi will present in the great hall of Vatroslav Lisinski in Zagreb. The whole event will be repeated a day later, five hundred kilometers further south in the city of Dubrovnik. Why not give it a try? From Vienna, it is exactly 399 kilometers to Zagreb, and trains leave twice a day.
