Lectures

The lecture series titled "MADE IN SK" is a series of presentations by young Slovak architects at the Faculty of Architecture in Brno. Its aim is to map and present the young Slovak generation of architects and theorists, thereby supporting Czechoslovak relations and continuing a shared tradition. The entire series kicks off with the first set of lectures in April of this year. So we warmly invite you.
All lectures take place in the auditorium of the Faculty of Architecture in Brno, at Poříčí 5, every Tuesday in April at 6:00 PM. Admission is free. After the presentations, there will be an afterparty in the faculty bar Detox. The first speaker on April 1st will be the Czechoslovak studio KSA. Architects David Kopecký and Ján Studený, who are graduates of the Emil Přikryl School of Architecture at the AVU in Prague and known for their unconventional and conceptual approach, will be followed on Monday, April 7th by the youngest duo of performers, Slovak superstars, Matúš Vall and Oliver Sadovský. A week later, on April 15th, Monika Mitášová, an architectural theorist from the AVU in Prague, will present. The lecture titled "Form follows... risk" will deal with architectural work of Françoise Roche, Kas Oosterhuis, Dana Čupková, KSA, and others, in addition to the exhibition of the same name. The final event will feature another specific member of the Slovak scene, specifically the Prešov studio Zerozero. Irakli Eristavi and Martin Jančok will present, in addition to the well-known CMYK realization, their latest projects and concepts.
