PAVLÍNA MORGANOVÁ
PLACE IN ACTION ART
The lecture will capture the birth and development of Czech action art through the prism of place. As a key to interpreting actions from the 60s and 70s, Pavlína Morganová chose the geography, history, and politics of the place. She will focus, among other things, on the work of Zorka Ságlová, thereby also placing it in the context of the screening of underground films by Jan Ságl that will take place at AVU on December 11.
