Allplan 2014 – new version of BIM solution for architects

Borderless collaboration with Allplan 2014
Thanks to the extended features of the Network Manager, employees and project partners can access their projects outside their offices just as smoothly as if everyone were sitting at one table over a single drawing. This means access for all teams regardless of location and time. No "email ping-pong," no data loss – you always work in the most current version. Who has which competencies in the project is determined by access rights. Increased security is ensured by data encryption.

3D modeling faster and easier
To make the work in the 3D modeler more intuitive, Allplan 2014 is equipped with a new extrusion function that independently recognizes surfaces that lie at an angle in space. Users can easily reposition or redraw outlines and, in the next step, extrude perpendicular to them. This is especially useful in designing urban buildings and in quickly "pulling up" and changing volumes during the design process.

Further steps towards Open BIM, Cloud, and SaaS
Customers using Allplan 2014 can also leverage bim+ and Nevaris as connected SaaS solutions. The Cloud bim+ solution with a BIM server and innovative applications allows, among other things, the linking and visualization of Allplan BIM models and the visualization of Allplan BIM models on mobile end devices. A new interface to the Nevaris system has also been introduced. Nevaris, with web-supported processes and real-time cost control, sets new benchmarks for AVA.

Summary: Design work is easier, faster, and cheaper. Errors are reduced.
