Armstrong is once again a pioneer in the field of ceiling systems with the new Optima Baffles Curves

Armstrong has launched a new product in its field in the form of mineral baffling with a wavy edge (thus expanding its range of classic rectangular baffles)

Imagine having traditional rectangular baffles at your disposal while designing a ceiling, with all their advantages, and additionally being able to add a unique wavy edge that allows you to create a completely original look. These are our new mineral baffles, Optima Baffles Curves. Armstrong's original range of mineral and metal rectangular baffles has always been popular among architects and specifiers. It retains its characteristic feature for mineral baffles in the form of integrated spiral anchors. This makes installation easy and quick, which every subcontractor will appreciate. Optima Baffles Curves are particularly suitable for large open spaces with modern exposed ceilings, such as transport hubs, schools, and offices. They can be easily attached to a standard suspension system or hung directly from the ceiling, allowing for easy access to the space above the ceiling, in a configuration of your choice: linear for a clean look, or alternating for maximum dynamism.

The new wavy baffles are available in two sizes and have a white coating on all edges, enhancing their light reflectivity to 87%. They absorb sound on all surfaces, making them suitable as a "flat" absorber in a linear arrangement or as a "discreet" absorber when installed as separate decorative elements.



Like many of our other products, they are 80% made from recycled material. Another added value is their 90% resistance to relative humidity. They provide unique aesthetics to any space where standard suspension systems cannot be installed. They are particularly suitable for low-energy buildings employing thermal mass construction techniques, natural lighting through skylights, or in high-profile spaces requiring a special yet economical acoustic solution.
