Long History and Heritage

The story of our aerated concrete blocks began over 60 years ago. Since then, we have maintained a strong position in the market, supported by hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, and Hungary. PORFIX CZ a.s. continues the tradition of PORFIX – aerated concrete, a.s., in Zemianske Kostoľany. This company is known as the business with the longest production of aerated concrete in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. In nearly half a century, its production of building material has surpassed 12 million m³. It has a portfolio of residential units as well as civic, industrial, and agricultural buildings in both metropolises and villages.

Innovation with PORFIX AKU

In 2023, we launched a new product PORFIX AKU, suitable for every construction, applicable in all types of buildings – from apartment houses to multi-story structures and public service buildings. Its technical parameters predispose it for the construction of low-energy and passive houses in combination with insulation in the style of sandwich construction. PORFIX AKU has a higher bulk density than aerated concrete blocks, making it heavier. With the ability to absorb and dampen sound, expand space, and save money, it has enormous potential. In a household, it can create and maintain warmth, transforming it into an oasis of comfort, tranquility, harmony, and privacy.

Comprehensive System and Services

Today, PORFIX CZ manufactures a comprehensive construction system consisting of blocks (smooth, with tongue and groove and pocket), partition walls, lintels, U-profiles, ceiling beams, and ceiling inserts, as well as sand-lime masonry. It is complemented by the PORFIX masonry and foundation mortar. Buildings made of PORFIX meet the strictest European criteria for statics and thermodynamics.

Additionally, we offer a range of services to our clients. Among the most popular are free consultations, calculating material consumption according to the project, creating laying diagrams for ceiling systems, founding constructions, and lending belt saws.
