Dim lighting, ambient colored illumination, sparkling crystals, and shine. A blend of entertainment and exclusively designed interiors. This is how one might describe an apartment that seems to be from American Las Vegas. The unique atmosphere of luxury hotels can also be experienced by the owner of the apartment on Dlouhá Street in Prague. From the original two-room apartment, we created a space where the stay is an experience.
The apartment is maximally tailored to the owner's requirements, who dreamed of a space for comfortably spending weekend evenings while visiting the metropolis. We removed the partitions and newly arranged the apartment into nooks to create a feeling of generous open space. The individual nooks flow seamlessly into one another.
The kitchen area and the toilet cabinet are hidden in a built-in wardrobe, which also conceals the entrance to the toilet. Conversely, a custom-made shower stall complemented by a sink made of Italian marble and a gilded mirror in the shape of the sun remains part of the open space.
The center of the apartment is designed for entertainment. A widescreen television connected with top-notch audio equipment is complemented by a minibar and a comfortable Chesterfield-style sofa. The nook is enhanced by a polished brass grid evoking the mood of Art Deco interiors.
A peaceful and refreshing sleep after a busy evening can be enjoyed by the owner in a continental bed, set into a furniture wall that discreetly hides elements for controlling the apartment's equipment and charging a phone.
All elements in the interior are made from unique materials such as mahogany veneer, natural stone, or gilded brass.
The color scheme of the furniture, textiles, and small accessories was chosen with regard to the investor's wishes. The first-class lighting fixtures also contribute to the desirable atmosphere of the apartment.
Comfortable control of lighting, appliances, and multimedia entertainment in the apartment is ensured by a smart home system. Thanks to this, creating a pleasant atmosphere, starting music, and lighting is just a matter of a single switch press at the entrance door. Everything else is taken care of by pre-programmed settings.
In conclusion, it should be noted that most of the elements (the table, shower stall, mirrors above the sinks, and grid) were custom-made. Thanks to the investor's patience and generous approach, it was possible to bring the interior to a perfect result.
