Apartment in Břevnov

The apartment in Břevnov is designed as comfortable and spacious living. The main goal was a seamless connection between the interior and the garden, allowing for urban living with a quality akin to that of a family home. The interior has a total area of 240 m², three rooms, and a large living space. It is connected to a kitchenette and opens up to a large garden through big windows. During the implementation, we had to demolish the apartment down to the bricks, redesign it, and realize it again. The developer proposed only one bathroom for an apartment of this size and category. Following our intervention, the apartment now has two bathrooms.

In the apartment in Břevnov, we used a combination of natural warm tones and surfaces, wood, and plaster. We harmoniously complemented the interior with high-quality large-format ceramics that imitate plaster and stone. Everything is refined with black details on faucets and accessories in the bathrooms. The investors are passionate travelers, and therefore the apartment is designed in an urban style with accessories referencing travel – for example, large photographs and graphics. It also includes ethnic accessories – stools and benches made from weathered elm wood and area rugs in beige tones. The apartment's design complements and reflects the lives of its owners.

This very interesting project was truly an inspiring process with a beautiful outcome. Designing and realizing an apartment the size of a larger house with a garden in the middle of the residential area of Břevnov was unique.
