For a store selling branded women's clothing, we designed an individual interior. We aimed to find a suitable concept for the way of selling clothes that would be competitive in the unified environment of globalized chains and offer an individual alternative for those who do not want to conform to the mass dictate of trends.
The neutral, bright, monochromatic environment recedes into the background and highlights the diverse mosaic of materials and colors from seasonal clothing collections. The center of the space is a concentrated stock of goods, an intentional chaos immediately open to the customer. In contrast, the perimeter walls are reserved for flagship pieces. All products are freely available for viewing, creating the illusion of searching for the right piece in one’s own wardrobe and blurring the barrier between the customer and the salesperson. The minimized background with the necessary sales technology is reduced to a counter and a few cabinets, integrated with fitting rooms into the side wall. The background is complemented by the essential mirror and a sofa.
With a minimal number of resources, we aimed to achieve a maximum impression. We chose basic materials and standard technologies, but we tried to use them in a non-standard scale and without classic details. Matte white paints and laminates, glossy black paints and laminates are complemented by compact materials and solid wood.
