The NBS branch enters the disrupted urban structure of the broader center of Lučenec. The concept of the new building is based on a conventional connection between the ground floor base and the rising vertical administration, calming the surrounding environment, which lacks any elementary order. The pair of masses that form the branch's building rise on orthogonal coordinates. The four-story cube serves as an office building, inaccessible and austere. It differs from the more extensive ground base with significant horizontal banding. The ground floor base, intended for the public, responds to the curvature of the road with a generous arc in front of the western facade. This creates an intimate courtyard, a pleasant urban element, and at the same time the only deviation from the rectangular scheme of the building.
