The increasing demands for service quality have compelled the investor to renovate the operational center complex so that the building meets both current and future needs. The complex is divided into two operationally separated parts - a building for public interaction and management, and then the technical and operational facilities for service employees.
We supplemented the existing buildings in the complex with new buildings in an urban shape of an enclosed complex, inspired by rural farmsteads. In front of the main entrance to the building, we designed a small square with parking and trees to enliven the urban space of the street and emphasize the entrance.
We designed the facades with creative plasters from the company STO on the theme of underground water. Thin strips of water in the cracks of the rock inspired us for the main pattern on the facade. The plaster, even in detail, does not lack manual shaping.
The investor required the use of corporate colors, which we utilized in the interior for a color experiment, where we uniformly applied one dominant color of the room to the floor, walls, and ceiling. The psychological effect of colors on the human brain is maximally enhanced by the alternation of differently colored rooms. (Green is fresher and warmer, blue is cooler and calming).
In designing the offices, we aimed for a model concept of office space for the 21st century. The light green color of spring leaves chosen for the offices creates a fresh, warm impression, while also being calming and motivating. Its use on the walls, floors, and ceiling maximizes its effect. The frameless entrance doors underscore a minimalist approach to space creation. In each office, one wall is fully glazed for maximum contact with the exterior. One or two walls in each office are designed as built-in cabinets with veneered doors serving as substantial storage for office supplies. Free furniture is limited to a work desk and a chair.
