The goal of the reconstruction was to design a simpler layout of the existing furnishings in the living space and kitchen.
The shapes and functions of individual pieces of furniture were simplified, and the kitchen, dining seating, and library were reworked, increasing the library's capacity.
The white color scheme combined with the cubic forms of the cabinets creates a feeling of a modern, airy, and practical interior. A graphic highlight is the sculpted cabinet doors and kitchen countertops, where a relief pattern is milled directly into the surface of the doors and then covered with a durable high-gloss plastic film.
The painting throughout the addressed space is white, with the walls behind the kitchen counter smoothed on both sides with white, lacquered marmorino and complemented with a touch of gold color on the surface. This creates a connection to the newly reconstructed floor, where the overly soft Marmoleum has been replaced with the more durable Marmorett from Armstrong.
The bedroom was enlivened by a striped painting on the front wall and part of the ceiling in the colors of the existing furniture.
The lighting remained original, only selected furniture pieces were supplemented with ambient white LED lights.
