The area is newly subdivided and designated for development with detached family houses and semi-detached houses. The locality is more or less flat, without dramatic contexts or views. The plots are not large, our square.
There is not much space for any play of shapes, and we are placing a house with a square floor plan on the square plot, in such a way that appropriate setbacks and space for the entrance are created.
The functioning of the entire house revolves around a centrally located circular staircase (circle in a square). On the ground floor, it is the dominant feature of the living area, and on the upper floor, it creates a staircase hall, from which the individual rooms are accessible.
Between the entrance door and the exit to the garden, there is a direct connection. Upon entering the living space, you turn around, and you are in the kitchen, dining area, on the couch, or going upstairs. On the upper floor, the staircase hall is illuminated by a skylight above the staircase mirror, with rooms, a bathroom, and a toilet. We focus heavily on the efficiency of the layouts, ensuring that not a square centimeter goes to waste.
From the outside, the house is conceived in the sense of "less is more," as a clear entity, with no unnecessary "extras."
The house is traditionally brick, with insulation, plaster, concrete ceilings, and wooden windows. The interior predominantly features wooden floors. The staircase is clad in plywood panels. Simple fencing, with gabion nets filled with hornbeam at the entrance.
