Reconstruction and completion of one of the two original buildings known as "American Homeland".
The original historicizing form with a mansard roof was replaced by a "contemporary" expression. The main construction interventions consisted of demolishing the original internal staircase, adding a rear communication section with a staircase and elevator, completing the last receding floor, and adding a meeting room on "curved red legs". The material solution distinguishes the original mass (white plaster) and the extensions (cladding with dark gray Cembonit and exposed concrete in the interior). A characteristic expressive element of the facades is the shading, textile awnings on the original mass and aluminum blinds on the large glazed areas of the extensions.
Functional content - ground floor, buffet, planography, archive, and technical background; the other floors house a design office, administration, capacity of approximately 70 people. Quite a good view of Brno.
