Organizations Open House Praha and Krenovka invite you to another joint debate from the series Openly about Prague, which this time will focus on Prague's cultural heritage and care for it.

Prague is repeatedly ranked among the most beautiful cities on the map of the world. Our ancestors left us a remarkable legacy in the form of a diverse palette of historical buildings from various architectural periods. Prague is a jewel that has survived the threats of the Second World War with only a minor detriment. Do we sufficiently appreciate the architectural values that have been preserved in Prague? Are we capable of contributing to the prosperity of the capital city, enriching it with new initiatives and caring for it with appropriate respect and expertise?

These are just some of the questions that will be raised in the panel debate on the topic of caring for Prague's architectural cultural heritage in the spaces of Čítárny Unijazz.

Panelists:
• Kateřina Bečková – Vice-Chairwoman of the Club for Old Prague
• Petr Hlaváček – Deputy Mayor of the City of Prague
• Ivo Macek – Director of the Museum of the City of Prague
• Jaroslav Podliska – Director of the Územního odborného pracoviště at the National Heritage Institute

The debate will be moderated by the instructor of year-round events at Open House Praha Michal Šedivý.
