Jože Plečnik is an architect who is claimed not only by Slovenians but also by Czechs. While his works were completed in our country after various twists and changes, some of his visions for the Slovenian capital were not realized. Come and take a look at a selection of four projects that could have forever changed the face of Ljubljana. The exhibition Plečnik's unrealized projects in Ljubljana is held on the occasion of this year's anniversary of 150 years since the birth of this significant architect and will be available from May 16 to May 30, 2022 at Jiřího z Poděbrad Square. A lecture is also planned in conjunction with the exhibition, featuring the curator of Plečnik's permanent exhibition in Ljubljana Ana Porok and professor and architect Vladimír Šlapeta, which will take place on Thursday, May 19, 2022.
