Reconstruction of the cinema into a cultural center in Leopoldov - architectural competition

The city of Leopoldov announced a public anonymous architectural design competition on March 21, 2017, titled “Reconstruction of the cinema into a cultural center in Leopoldov”, the subject of which is the architectural-urban planning solution for the reconstruction of the cinema building into a cultural center along with the modification of adjacent spaces. The decisive criterion will not be the lowest price, but architectural quality, which will be evaluated by renowned architects. The city continues the trend of building architecturally high-quality public buildings, for which its leadership received the CEZAAR award - Patron of Architecture last year. The estimated costs for the construction are €1,200,000 excluding VAT. The submission of alternative solutions as separate proposals is permissible. The contract for providing services will be awarded in a direct negotiation procedure to the winner.
