The subject of the competition is the development of a conceptual urban-planning-architectural proposal for the revitalization of the historic center of Orlová. The aim is to find the most suitable urban-planning-architectural and economic vision for the future development of the historic part of the city. The conceptual proposal will serve as a basis for subsequent regulatory plan development and also as an impetus for the adjustment of the strategic development plan for Orlová.

The winner of the competition will be automatically considered among the candidates for the Peter Parléř Award 2014, the awarding of which will be decided by the Evaluation Board on March 18, 2015.

A tour of the area in question will take place on November 6, 2014.
Participants should meet at 11 AM at the town hall building, Staré náměstí 76, Orlová - Město.
