barak architects (SK) + nonconform / demoplan (A/CZ) in Prague

Slovak atelier BARAK architekti was established in 1996 in Bratislava as an association of architects. Since 2004, it has been operating under the leadership of architect Viktor Šabík in Nitra, and from the same year, it has been connected to the WONDERLAND project. The atelier's work has been awarded several prizes, including CE.ZA.AR, a nomination for the Mies van der Rohe Award 09, and the Crystal Wing 2010.

The Austrian architectural studio nonconform was founded by Roland Gruber, Peter Nageler, and Caren Ohrhallinger in Vienna in 1999. They place emphasis primarily on the first part of the planning process - engaging the client and stakeholders so they can participate in the project and intervene at every stage. They have received many awards, including the State Prize for Consulting 2008. Collaboration with a team of young Czech architects demoplan, founded by Jiří Koten and Karol Hausenblas.



The exhibition provides an overview of the work of internationally successful architects and is part of the architecture week 2011
