Assignment
The assignment was to propose the key locations for Roudnice nad Labem based on the overall concept created during the first part of the semester.

Proposal
Roudnice nad Labem is located in one of the two most fertile areas of the Czech Republic and has a long history and tradition in horticulture, which is clearly evident in the immediate vicinity of the city. At the same time, it is a city full of greenery, which has various characteristics. From well-maintained parks and gardens to neglected and unused areas, as well as natural and agricultural greenery around the city.
Today, there are many spaces within both the urban area and its surroundings that are relatively well integrated but do not fully utilize their potential. By selecting these areas and meaningfully connecting them, a compact functional unit called Roudnické záhumenní is created.
"Roudnické záhumenní" is thus a set of processes derived from historical and current analyses confirming the needs and benefits of producing products from both original and newly proposed vineyards, orchards, and other production areas. It is also one of the tools for improving the economic stability of the city and, above all, a clear boundary for built-up areas, but it is also an important transition from urban structure to open countryside in both directions, as we believe that now more than ever, it is important to define and be aware of these boundaries and transitions.
