AT THE CASTLE AND IN THE CASTLE GROUNDS
Consequence forma invites you to a summer workshop in Letovice, where we will address the conceptual design of the existing brownfield area near the city center.
Letovice, with its urban composition, rich history, morphology, and the river flowing through it, is one of the exceptional cities. The current ambitions of the city to actively participate in the future vision of the brownfield adjacent to the center and the river present a great opportunity to fully develop this potential. Exploring various solution scenarios allows students to actively engage in the process from its inception alongside invited professionals. The four-day workshop led by Consequence forma architects and invited guests can play a key role in its future shaping. The event under the CNQ visiting school banner always follows a similar scenario, where the main focus is on improving not just design, but also presentation, communication, and other necessary skills on a specific assignment that stems from the needs of the city.
Selected students will have their accommodation covered, partial meals will be provided, and a fire pit or grill for continuing into the evening hours is also being discussed.
Students will have the opportunity to present their ideas to representatives and the public, and they will receive tickets to the Letovice Festival 3+1, which takes place after the workshop.
This workshop follows the happening “Pull with the Duck"
It will be intense and inspiring!
