Guerilla in the E. Beneš Square - bench production, studio for Textilie, and planning workshop

Is the Edvard Beneš Square in the center of Ostrava a square or a passageway with a muddy path? Are you worried about how it looks? Come to a guerrilla event at the square to help create benches, spend a nice morning with children, or discuss the future of the square. In June, we will continue with a charity event and gradually transform the square together so that it is no longer just a passageway.

Come and handcraft a bench yourself or with your children! Creating furniture for public spaces under the guidance of architects Adam Wlazel and Kateřina Vídenová. It will be held at Dr. E. Beneš Square.

Public Planning Workshop on the Future of the Square
Is the Edvard Beneš Square a square or a passageway with a muddy path? Are you concerned about how it looks? What do you think could change, and what could the square be in the future? Come share your opinion and discuss the space that is perceived as the gateway to the center of Ostrava. The workshop will be led by architects Adam Wlazel, Kateřina Vídenová, and Ilona Vybíralová. There will be an exhibition – outcomes from the professional planning workshop about the square in the showcases of Ostravice-Textilie.
It will be held at Dr. E. Beneš Square.
