Rožnov pod Radhoštěm - The reconstruction of the polyclinic in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm in the Vsetín region will begin on Monday. In April, the adjustment of the main entrances started, and from Monday, the builders will work on the reconstruction of the interiors. This part will affect the operation of medical practices, said the town hall spokesperson Petra Graclíková today.
"The adjustments to the entrances started at the beginning of April and should be completed by the end of June. The changes affected the main entrance to the polyclinic and the entrance to the children's department. Now, the reconstruction of the interiors will begin, lasting from June to November 2024. The polyclinic will undergo the renewal of floors, walls, plasters, and new furniture will also be acquired," the spokesperson stated.
The main reconstruction of the internal spaces will be divided into eight phases over 14 days. The first will last from June 3 to June 16 and will concern building A, the third floor. "During this phase, Dr. Kotrs' office will be closed, and Dr. Čáranová will substitute her. Dr. Janíková and Dr. Polívková will be substituted, if necessary, by Dr. Vojkůvka, Dr. Řišica, Dr. Juříčková, and Dr. Košťálová. Dr. Urbánková's office will be closed without a substitute," the spokesperson added.
During the reconstruction, there will be an employee at the polyclinic who will inform patients about the changes. "All current information regarding the reconstruction is also available at www.roznov.cz/poliklinika and the city's social networks. The next phase will start on June 21 and last until July 7," the spokesperson stated. The costs of the polyclinic's renewal will be nearly 20 million crowns.
