In Prague 8, a residential-commercial center Plazza Střížkov is set to be built

Prague - A new residential and commercial center called Plazza Střížkov could rise in Prague's Střížkov area. It involves the construction of three buildings of varying heights between Teplická and Střížkovská streets. The Czech News Agency learned this today from a document included in the EIA database, which assesses the impact of constructions on the environment. The applicant for the construction is the company Oxcorp.
    In Střížkov, Prague 8, three buildings are expected to be constructed, which will have three, five, and 11 floors. "These are buildings designated for housing with spaces for commercial activities," the documentation states. Inside, in addition to 94 apartments for approximately 330 people, there should be restaurants, offices, fitness centers, or centers for parents with children. The built-up area is to be 3203 m². Buildings currently occupying the land will be demolished.
    The project also includes the construction of an underground parking lot with a capacity of 189 spaces. In total, the buildings will have three underground floors. The parking lot will serve the public.
    Additionally, a park located at the northern tip of the property is to be renovated. According to the documentation, it is currently neglected, unmaintained, overgrown with wild shrubbery, and does not serve the recreation of residents.
    When construction is expected to begin is not clear from the documentation. It only states that construction will start within one year of the issuance of the building permit and should last about 36 months.
