In the winter semester of 2016, as part of the subject 'Architect in Practice' designated for second-year MSP students, a lecture series featuring Czech, Slovak, and foreign architects will take place at the Faculty of Architecture at VUT in Brno. On Thursday, November 24, 2016, at 5:00 PM in room A118, Samuel Netočný (a graduate of FA VUT and the Vienna Academy with a project in the first volume of Slovak architecture) and Vojtěch Jemelka (a graduate of FA VUT and the Prague Academy, who graduated with a project on pilgrimage paths and currently works at the Ječmen studio) will speak.

Ing. arch. MgA. Vojtěch Jemelka (*1985 Olomouc) interned at FUA TUL in Liberec (2008), graduated under Prof. Ivan Kolečka at FA VUT in Brno (2011), and subsequently continued his studies under Prof. Emil Přikryl at AVU in Prague (2014). In 2014, he began collaborating with the Olomouc studio Ječmen.

Ing. arch. MArch. Samuel Netočný (*1986 Poprad) completed his bachelor's studies at the Faculty of Architecture VUT in Brno (2005-09), an Erasmus stay at the School of Architecture, University of Brighton (2007-08), and a master's degree at the Institute of Art and Architecture (IKA) at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna (2009-11). He gained experience at the Vienna studio juri troy architects (2011-14). Since 2014, he has been working at the BEHF studio. Previously, he worked in studios in Poprad, Munich, and London.
In 2016, he received a prize from the magazine Moderní obec for his project Chapel of the Resurrection in the Young Architect Award competition for his contribution to strengthening the community of the local inhabitants.
